On Glauburgstraße
Sunny Side Up in the Nordend is the second of our three breakfast restaurants in Frankfurt and opened in 2021. At the end of 2025 we renovated and redesigned the café.
You will find us at the corner of Gluckstraße and Glauburgstraße, just a few steps from the Glauburgstraße underground station.
Small, but especially cosy
Our Nordend location is the smallest of the three – and the cosiest. Inside there are 36 seats, and two terraces add another 40 outside. Both terraces are covered by awnings, and on one side patio heaters and side panels let you sit outside comfortably even at cooler temperatures. Sun and shade take turns over the course of the day.
The menu in the Nordend differs in a few places from our locations in the Westend and Sachsenhausen. The concept stays the same, of course: vegetarian breakfast, brunch, lunch and cakes with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. Our weekly changing lunch is served Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Good to know
Families with children are very welcome here too: there are high chairs, a changing table, a box of games and colouring pages, a small children’s menu and babyccinos on the house. Dogs are welcome as well. Please note that the entrance has three steps and is not step-free.
One special feature in the Nordend: from Monday to Friday, reservations are possible for groups of four or more. Just write to us at kontakt@sunnysideup-ffm.de or call the Nordend location directly on 069 20737684. Apart from that we generally work with walk-ins only. At weekends there can be a wait for a table between 10 am and 1 pm. Compared with our other locations, though, the Nordend is usually where you get a spontaneous table fastest.
